Morning & Evening
Qi Gong, Meditation, Yoga, Dance and more…
Our Community has many talented practitioners, with many different skills. The Activities at the Congress will allow all of us to appreciate some of these. Each session has a teacher combining his experience as an AT teacher with his other knowledge, to create an hour of learning, fun and interaction.
Have a good start into the day or an active way to close the Congress day before dinner and the evening program. You can attend one session or all of them, no booking is required.
Activities Overview & Timetable
Activities happen twice a day, in the mornings and in the evenings, for about 1 hour each:
- Every morning Tuesday to Sunday from 7.00-8.00h (7- 8am)
- Every evening, except for Thursday, at different times.
- Not all activities happen every day, so please be sure to carefully check the timetable below and/or the detailed event list on this page to see what’s on when.

Caroline Blackshaw
Victoria, AustraliaSmart Yoga
This class incorporate the principles of the Alexander Technique, taught in the Smart Yoga style. This is a mindful approach to using our whole being. It makes simple movements feel lighter and easier and helps alleviate tension and pain in the body. The Alexander Technique, applied to the large repertoire of postures and movements introduced to us through yoga, helps us build a clear and balanced state of mind, enhances our curiosity. Yoga and Alexander Technique together offer a subtle method of changing harmful habits and help you move towards less pain and more freedom in all your daily activities. Caroline’s classes are gentle and energising so, if you haven’t tried yoga before, they are a great place to start.

Here at the congress, there are so many wonderful people around to connect with, so many great workshops to attend to, so many new ideas to take in. It is so exiting that we can easily loose contact to ourselves and end up feeling a bit stressed and empty. „Being with and Caring for“ the most important person in your live – yourself – offers you a doorway to come home. You will find a space where you can slow down and attune in a friendly way with your body, your mind and yourself as a person. There will be guided mindfulness Meditations in laying down and comfortable sitting positions. There will be mindfulness exercises to support you in connecting from the heart with yourself and those around you. My wish for you is to come out of this workshop with a calmer mind, an open heart and a soul that feels deeply nourished.

Florida, USAProne is for Primary, Supine is for Secondary: Assisted Constructive Rest with AT, Dart, and Framework for Integration applications (with Luc Vanier)
Constructive Rest is often thought of as specifically semi-supine. Using patterning from the Dart Procedures as distilled in Framework for Integration, participants will explore options for Constructive Rest in both prone (belly) and supine (back) orientations. Alexander teachers and co-creators of Framework for Integration (with Rebecca Nettl-Fiol) Elizabeth Johnson and Luc Vanier will assist participants in finding restful, whole-body patterning that facilitates lengthening and widening from multiple vantage points.
